Die Fotomasken-Produktionsstätte Advanced Mask Technology Center GmbH & Co KG (AMTC) ist ein Joint Venture zwischen Globalfoundries und Toppan Photomasks Inc.. Alle Gebäude auf der Produktionsstätte werden von AMTC und Toppan genutzt. Die Produktionsstätte besteht aus einem Bürogebäude und einem Produktionsgebäude, welche miteinander verbunden sind. Weiterhin befinden sich Gebäude auf dem Gelände, die zur Bereitstellung der Infrastruktur für diese Art von Produktion benötigt werden. Die sicherheitsrelevanten Anteile befinden sich im Produktionsgebäude: Sowohl der Reinraum aus auch die Speicherung und Vorverarbeitung der sensitiven Daten erfolgt in diesem Gebäude.
AMTC bietet die Bearbeitung von Designdaten, die Generierung von Fotomaskendaten sowie die Produktion der Fotomasken nach vorgegebenen Spezifikationen an. Weiterhin bietet AMTC einen Reinigungs- und -reparaturdienst für Fotomasken an. Die angebotenen Dienste gehören zur Lebenszyklus-Phase 3 (“IC Manufacturing”).
The photomask fabrication site Advanced Mask Technology Center GmbH & Co KG (AMTC) is a joint venture between Globalfoundries and Toppan Photomasks Inc.. All buildings on site are used by AMTC and Toppan. The site comprises an office building and a production building. These buildings are connected. Further on infrastructure buildings are located on site as required for this kind of production. The security relevant items are handled in the production building: the clean room is located in this building as well as the storage and pre-processing of the sensitive customer data.
AMTC provides design data processing, generation of photomasks data and production of the photomasks based on the agreed requirements specification. AMTC also provides a mask cleaning and repair services for photomasks returned to the mask shop. The services belong to life cycle phase 3 “IC Manufacturing”.
