Schutzprofil / Protection Profile
Der Evaluierungsgegenstand (EVG) des Schutzprofils ist ein Sicherheitsmodul, das für den Einbau in einem sogenannnten Smart Meter Mini-HSM vorgesehen ist. Das Sicherheitsmodul besteht aus Hard- und Software und stellt zentrale kryptografische Funktionen und einen sicheren Speicher für Schlüsselmaterial für den Nutzer des Smart Meter Mini-HSM und seinen Applikationsserver zur Verfügung.
The Target of Evaluation (TOE) that is described in this PP is a Security Module intended to be integrated in a so-called Smart Meter Mini-HSM. The Security Module is an electronic unit comprising ardware and software that provides central cryptographic services and secure storage for key material for the user of the Smart Meter Mini-HSM and the related application server.
