Das Schutzprofil Cryptographic Modules, Security Level "Enhanced", Version 1.01 beschreibt die Sicherheitsanforderungen an kryptographische Module, die zugelassene kryptographische Sicherheitsfunktionen zur Verfügung stellen. Diese zugelassenen kryptographischen Sicherheitsfunktionen schützen die Vertraulichkeit und/oder die Integrität von Nutzerdaten entsprechend der Sicherheitspolitik eines IT-Systems.
The Protection Profile Cryptographic Modules, Security Level "Enhanced", Version 1.01 describes the security requirements for cryptographic modules which provide endorsed cryptographic security functions. These endorsed cryptographic security functions protect the confidentiality or the integrity or both of user data according to a security policy of an IT system.
Dieses Schutzprofil steht nur noch in besonderen Einzelfällen für neue Zertifizierungsverfahren zur Verfügung. Es wurde durch eine aktualisierte Version BSI-CC-PP-0045-2009 ersetzt.
New product certifications can use this Protection Profile only in specific cases. An updated version BSI-CC-PP-0045-2009 is available.
