  Der TOE ist das “Trusted Platform Module SLB96xx”, Versionen v4.43.0257.00 und v4.43.0258.00 und v4.43.0259.00, inklusive der dazugehörigen Produktbeschreibung gemäß Sicherheitsvorgaben. Die Versionen v4.43.0257.00 und v4.43.0258.00 und v4.43.0259.00 sind identisch, wobei die Versionen v4.43.0258.00 und v4.43.0259.00 für das Field-Upgrade genutzt wird. Der SLB96xx ist ein TPM in Form einer integrierten Schaltung mit eingebetteter Software. Der SLB96xx kann von Computer-Herstellern als Kernkomponente einer Trusted Computing Platform eingesetzt werden. Er dient dabei der Sicherstellung von Authentizität, Integrität und Vertraulichkeit in E-Commerce und Internetkommunikation. Zur Integration in PC Mainboards kommuniziert der SLB96xx über das Low Pin Count Interface (LPC). Der SLB96xx implementiert die TCG TPM Main Specification, Version 1.2, Revision 116 und die TCG PC Client Specific TPM Interface Specification (TIS), Version 1.3.
  The Target of Evaluation (TOE) is the Trusted Platform Module SLB96xx (or SLB96xx in short), versions v4.43.0257.00 and v4.43.0258.00 and v4.43.0259.00, including related guidance documentation as described in the Security Target. The versions v4.43.0257.00 and v4.43.0258.00 and v4.43.0259.00 include the identical source code, where the v4.43.0258.00 and v4.43.0259.00 are used for field upgrade. The TOE is an integrated circuit and software platform that provides computer manufacturers with the core components of a subsystem used to assure authenticity, integrity and confidentiality in e-commerce and internet communications within a Trusted Computing Platform as defined in the TPM Main Specification. The SLB96xx is a complete solution implementing the TCG TPM Main Specification, Version 1.2, Revision 116, and the TCG PC Client Specific TPM Interface Specification (TIS), Version 1.3. The SLB96xx uses the Low Pin Count Interface (LPC) for the integration into existing PC mainboards.

  Sicherheitsvorgaben / Security Target
  Die neuen TPM 1.2 Softwareversionen v4.42.0132.00 und v4.42.0133.00 wurden dem TOE hinzugefügt. Dabei handelt es sich um Produktänderungen der Kategorie „minor change“ gegenüber der TPM 1.2 Softwareversion v4.40.0119.00. Die beiden neuen Versionen sind funktional identisch und werden nur aus logistischen Gründen separat geführt.
  The new TPM 1.2 software versions v4.42.0132.00 and v4.42.0133.00 have been added to the TOE. The new versions represent only minor product changes compared to the TPM 1.2 software version v4.40.0119.00. The two newly introduced versions are functionally identical and are separately identified for logistical reasons only.

Das TPM implementiert die „TCG Trusted Platform Module Spezifikation Version 1.2“ sowie die „TCG PC Client Specific TPM Interface Specification Version 1.21 Final, Revision 1.00“.
