Der Evaluierungsgegenstand (EVG) ist die SmartApp SIGN 2.2. Es ist eine Signaturkarte mit Schlüsselgenerierung entsprechend des Schutzprofils "Protection Profile for Secure Signature Creation Device – Part 2: Device with key generation, BSI-CC-PP-0059, version 1.03." Der EVG erweitert das Schutzprofil mit der Möglichkeit des Aufbaues eines sicheren Kanals zwischen der Karte und der signatur- bzw. zertifikatgenerierenden Einheit.
The Target of Evaluation (TOE) is SmartApp SIGN 2.2. It is a multifunctional smartcard product implementing a secure signature creation device as described in the "Protection Profile for Secure Signature Creation Device – Part 2: Device with key generation, BSI-CC-PP-0059, version 1.03." It can generate a signing key (signature creation data, SCD) and operates to create electronic signatures with the generated key. SmartApp SIGN 2.2 extends the protection profile with a trusted channel secure communication with a signature creation application and a certificate generation application.
