This study aims to analyze the essential policy and charging control function used in the 5G environment and to define suitable security measures so that the Federal Office for Information Security can subsequently develop or expand certification requirement documents for corresponding products. The key consideration for the Federal Office for Information Security is to ensure that critical networks continue to be operational, which is why the study prioritizes this perspective in its analysis.
