Since 2018, BSI and the French Agence Nationale de la Sécurité des Systèmes d‘Information (ANSSI) publish a joint release once per year. Each year, the joint release addresses a specific cybersecurity-related topic deemed relevant by both agencies. In 2023, it focuses on "Guaranteeing the cybersecurity of major sports events through cooperation with the private sector". The document shows ANSSI’s and BSI’s approaches to the cybersecurity of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in France and the 2024 UEFA European Football Championship (UEFA EURO) in Germany.

Since 2020, the joint releases by ANSSI and BSI are published in English.
