A Secure CI-Workstation (CWS) is a product type that describes a workstation, such as a desktop PC or a laptop, on which processing of classified data as VS-NfD (referred to in this document as VS-NfD data) shall be possible. It is assumed that the workstation is used for typical applications such as document processing, e-mail or Internet access. However, neither certain types of applications are prescribed nor excluded at this point.
