The BSI publishes expert papers of general interest from in-house employees in the periodical '<kes> -- Die Zeitschrift für Informations-Sicherheit' and papers from guest authors on IT security topics in an independent BSI Forum.

To help select qualified service providers, the BSI, pursuant to Section 3 (3) BSIG has published a list of selection criteria for various topics and identified qualified service providers that meet these requirements.
Additionally, the BSI carries out conformity assessment certification of persons. Relevant information can be found under Certification and Approval.

The following fees are charged for calling the BSI within Germany using the 0228 99 number (Deutsche Telekom landline):
The fees charged for a local call from the local area/vicinity of Bonn or Berlin
Plus the fees charged for a domestic long-distance call to Bonn or Berlin.
Other providers may charge their own applicable fees.
The BSI can provide speakers to a limited extent (depending on the topic, participant group and staff availability). Please submit a speaker enquiry well in advance using the enquiry form provided.
Links to other websites are only included in exceptional cases, for example, as an appropriate way to add further information to the information already offered by the BSI. Requests for the inclusion of a link are sent very frequently to the BSI. If the BSI accepted these requests, there would very quickly be an unmanageable number of entries.
